Mount Yakebitai, located 2,000 meters above sea level, is a representative area of the Shiga Kogen Plateau. The natural snow here, which features clearly visible snow crystals, is often called platinum powder.

Powder & Groomed Runs

The 19 diverse runs here, including the Panorama–South Course, which is the longest one at 2,430 meters, will entertain and engage everyone from beginners to advanced skiers. The Olympic Course, which has been the site of numerous international competitions, boasts an immense legacy. The powder area YAKEBI VALLEY, which opened last year, can be enjoyed as a tree run for advanced skiers only, with the bowl-shaped terrain kept intact.
